Helicentro Perú SAC issued a statement denying the veracity of the reports aired on September 22 on the Sunday programs «Punto Final» on Latina and «Cuarto Poder» on América Televisión regarding alleged delays in the overhaul of 4 Mi-8MTV-1 helicopters of the Army Aviation and one Mi-8MTV-1, a Mi-17-1B, and two Mi-171Sh of the Peruvian Air Force, and the lack of certification from Russian manufacturers and designers.
